Henry Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas"

Ruth Michel music directed and conducted Roberts Wesleyan University's opera production of "Dido and Aeneas" in 2024. Rehearsals consisted of helping singers to achieve the vocal aesthetic and style of this opera, and to improve the singers' recitative skills. Dr. Adam Potter and Ruth Michel arranged a Recitative Workshop leading the students to achieve such skills one by one.
